This exhibition focuses on six British architects who made a huge impact on 20th-century architecture: Norman Foster, Richard Rogers, Nicholas Grimshaw, Michael and Patty Hopkins and Terry Farrell.
These architects are associated with the movement in architecture to follow Modernism, called ‘high-tech’ or ‘industrial style’, characterised by steel skeletons and lightweight prefabricated materials.
The exhibition marks the opening of RIBA’s new Architecture Gallery designed by Carmody Groarke. For more information about the exhibition visit the RIBA website.
